The Wolf Creek and Western Railroad

Wolf Creek and Western Railroad

Set “in the western US” around the steam to diesel transition era, the Wolf Creek and Western runs from Ashland Staging  to Wolf Creek Staging Yards. This giant N Scale layout is the work of Geoff Tynon in Coromandel Valley SA. Geoff doesn’t stick to a prototype he likes long trains and multiple unit motive power. But Union Pacific seems to take pride of place among the motive power, along with Santa Fe first generation diesels and big steam locomotives.

He dispatches the layout with Traincontroller.

Ashland is the lower level staging yard with 16 tracks each around 3 metres long.

From Ashland the train climbs the grade to Bristol, where……..

Leaving Bristol the train heads to Clinton,

Dayton,

Eagle,

Franklin,

Greenville,

Hudson,

 Independence

and into the 16 track staging at Wolf Creek
